The Course

THE COURSE

The Embalming course is Module Based therefore giving the student the opportunity to balance their studying. This also allows the student to spread the cost of the course over the duration. The course is scheduled throughout the academic year and can usually be completed between 12 and 18 months.

MODULE D: THE EFFECTS AND PREVENTON OF DISEASE 

MODULE E: PRACTICAL EMBALMING

 

Course fees are available upon Request.


Tuition fees do not include student registration, examination fees, text books, or any travelling/accommodation expenses that a student may incur.
It is the duty of the student to pay the following disbursements through their tutor.


Fees payable are currently:


Foundation Module Examination: £50:00 (payable at course commencement to the I.E.B.E.)
BIE Student Registration: £ 155:00 (payable upon successful foundation exam result)
IEBE Registration and Modular Unit Examination Fees: £ 525:00 (payable upon successful foundation exam result). There is also an  Invigilator fee of £60 per modular exam payable to your tutor.
Practical Examination fee : (autopsied + non-autopsied) £300:00 (payable upon practical examination application) + exam venue fee if applicable.
Any modular examination or assessment failure will result in a re-sit fee of £125:00. 

Any of the above BIE fees may be altered without consultation.
